I need for a 58 , a washer bottle top only (I have the glass jar) with the plastic piece with 4 nipples. and a good used engine dipstick, which as I understand is one year only.thanx, Dave

Hi Dave, Mcveys do sell the lids & repair kits which have rivets with them if you don't have the rivet tools you can use a ball bearing & press.
Use a ball bearing that is bigger that the ID of the rivet tube it can be difficult if you haven't done this type of thing before. (don't use a to small ball bearing as you may get it stuck in the rivet)
The Mcveys Lids tend to rust very quickly & they don't sell the Plastic with the tubes.
You are far better off looking for a NOS lid they are used on many GM & other makes for the same years it was a common Trico part, I have managed to buy 4 NOS lids with jars over the past 2 years from the States & I live in New Zealand & the Jars with lids cost me less than $100 each.
