I am trying to stop some of the leaks on 1937 60 series. The pinion seal measures about 3.725 OD. by 1.875 ID. I ordered one from a Cadillac parts supplier and the one he sent is 2 5/8 OD x 1 1/5 ID. The part number is 30067 hand written and there is a  stamped Standard part number 1083. Does any one know the correct part number or a source for this part. Thanks Steve

If you take the seal to a local Bearing and Seal supply shop they should be able to match up the OD and ID with a modern seal that will fit. It will only be half the thickness so you have to fit 2.    Jim Stampler and myself have done this, Jim may chip in with part numbers if he has them.
