Please view the post in the Forum Support forum, it has a poll about making a dark mode (i.e. dark color screens instead of bright white) available. This can be of interest for those that access the forums from a mobile device as dark screens use less battery power. But we need to know whether enough people want this before investing the time to install an extra mode.

I don't even know if they make a continental kit for this car, If so if anyone knows where I can buy a new one or used one, as always I truly appreciate all the help.

There were 2 styles.  On one, the entire bumper was removed and an extension was added between the bumper and quarter panels to fit the wheel.  Of course, the exhaust also had to be modified to still exit through the bumper ends as was the practice in '57.

The second style left the bumper in its original position and a U shaped piece with the same contour of the center bar was added and the wheel fit inside it.

I have an original brochure for the second style so I would say that is the one approved by cadillac.  I have seen this style pop up on ebay but rarely.

I prefer the second type as the one where the bumper is moved back just looks too cheap and tacky.

They never made them for the '70's Eldorados so I made my own.   And used a Space saver spare as the original 235x75x15 wheel was just too tall for smooth lines.

Bruce, that looks great on your car. If you happen to see one for sale somewhere keep me in mind.

I make my own as I usually get cars that never had them.

Finding one down here for anything is like finding hens' teeth.

And I can see why.   It simply doesn't blend in with the lines of the vehicle.   Way too tall for the trunk lines.

Difficult to see, but the outer frame doesn't meet well with the original Bumper Bar.
