1959 carburator base plate and fuel tank question

Hi all, 
Can anyone help with a good source for the tin plate and insulator under the carb on my 1959 390 with the carter 4 barrel
carb  The original is cracked. 

Also any opinions on repairing the original fuel tank vs aftermarket replacement?   My tank does not leak but has a large crease in it from the prior owner running over a large rock.
