A day-long Judges’ Workshop for the Northeastern and Southeastern Regions will be held in Wilmington, Delaware and is sponsored by the Valley Forge Region. Although conducted for those Regions, any CLC member is welcome to register.

WHAT IS A JUDGE’S TRAINING WORKSHOP?

It is 7 hours of training, including classroom instruction and the actual judging of cars. Classroom Instruction will cover:
•   Entrant and Judge responsibilities
•   Judging procedures now being used
•   Judging procedures that will apply in 2017 and after â€" new 560 point system

Each participant must complete a written examination at the close of the classroom instruction.

Practice Judging will enable all participants to individually judge a representative Cadillac. Additionally, a new car will be used to illustrate the standard on which all judging is based. Critiques of the judging will occur throughout the afternoon by CLC Chief Judge Anderson.

JUDGE’S RECOGNITION PROGRAM

All participants will be awarded points as part of the CLC Judges’ Recognition Program (see the CLC 2016 International Membership Directory (page 83) for details.

Those completing the course and passing the written examination will receive 4 points. Those completing the course will receive 3 points.

Where:      Wilmington, Delaware; Double Tree Hilton Hotel Wilmington
Cadillac Room rate is $121/night plus tax
Cost:      $49.50 to cover cost of lunch, refreshments, & judging materials
Participants:   Minimum 25; Maximum 50 if 25 don’t sign up, the workshop will be canceled
      In the event of cancelation, the fee will be refunded
   Maximum limited by date registration forms are received
