aav-26 carb floats

I have my Stromberg carb apart. with the air horn inverted and floats sitting level how high from the gasket to the top of the floats ? its running way to rich now.  thanks john

You can check it when its back together and idling by removing the little screw on the side of the body. Fuel should be at the bottom of hole when running. Have a rag reddy under the screw in case fuel level is too high as it fill flow out of there.
