The only way that electric cars should not suffer a "gas or road tax"  is if they don't drive on the roads!

In California, they will be adding a $100 registration surcharge for EV cars as well...

Socialist California will never see any car of mine to scam a lousy $100; they want people like Bernie Sanders, etc to be part of "THE LOSERS OF CALIFORNIA CLUB" who wouldn't know any better!  EAM

California benefits from being one of the most geographically diverse, gorgeous, comfortable places to live on earth.  As such, the state has advantages that other states don't enjoy - people are willing to put up with more.  I would even think about moving there, despite being a libertarian.

I come from Alabama, and I can say, at least, that it is unlikely that gasoline powered vehicles are going to be outlawed here.  It seems every single political ad I see has the candidate, some dogs, 3-5 kids, a happy wife, some guns...and then, always, always he is driving a 1965 or older truck.  I simply don't think the politicians could make ads without classic, carbureted vehicles, so, by all means come here when Cali shuts yall down.    ;D

Come on fellas, we are getting a tad away from the subject of Cadillacs and LaSalles.

The heading is about the rise of tax for Gasoline in California, not the political and social side of California, or any other State, Country and the like.
