I recently re-joined the Club after a several year hiatus.  Also just finished reviving a 1912 Model 30 touring car from hibernation after 95 years.  This car is remarkable in that it is unrestored and the Delco electrical system is mostly intact and functional.  How many other 1912 Cadillacs have a complete functional original electrical system?
Many thanks!

Thank you for sharing.

Any chance you could post some pictures.  I don't get to see 1912 Cadillacs often.

In 1912 shouldn't it be "Dayton Electric Co"?

Actually, I don't believe it was ever "Dayton Electric Company".  It was founded as "Dayton Engineering Laboratories Company" in 1909 by Charles Kettering and Edward Deeds in Dayton, OH.  Kettering had developed the points type ignition as we know it today and the company was formed to handle an order for 5,000 ignition sets placed by Henry Leland of Cadillac!
