I bought my coupe Deville last year and even with the low mileage it still had a few little issues that needed to addressed. I usually work on my cars mainly during the winter, one day I woke up realizing it was February and I haven't repaired anything. That also explained my increased stress level and basically needing some time to do something enjoyable. My drivers side window window guide broke just before I took it off the rode for the winter. I decided to tackle this first. It was a pain in the neck to get it apart and repaired but you get a sense of accomplishment when you're done and it actually works! Maybe that's why we all have these old relics, we enjoy taking them out and catching everyone's eye. Some of you like myself, enjoy a challenge of going through the manual, finding the solution and getting it done. The gift that keeps on giving!

We call it garage therapy.  Just keep your parts budget below the cost of a shrink and you’ll come out ahead!

;D  Hasn't happened for me, but still better than a shrink!  I'm always upside down in my cars but worth (almost) every penny to me.
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Mental Illness".  Dave Barry.   I walk that line.
