Please view the post in the Forum Support forum, it has a poll about making a dark mode (i.e. dark color screens instead of bright white) available. This can be of interest for those that access the forums from a mobile device as dark screens use less battery power. But we need to know whether enough people want this before investing the time to install an extra mode.

I need one of the balls that ride inside a distributer and allow the vacuum advance to work. There are three balls which look like a ball out of a ball bearing. The ball measures 0.218 inch or 7/32 inch. WW Grainger will sell them in a lot of 100. Does anyone have one?

Many companies here sell much smaller amounts like the link below. just a few pounds for 10. Have you searched all your bearing suppliers online?  Have you tried in a bicycle shop?

Bernie,

I replace the distributor plate with the newer ones that use ball bearing in the center of the plate. Even Delco put out a newer version. I might have a nice Delco one if you are interested.

Do a search on e-bay on distributor plates and see if one pops up. Dyna-Flyte is the one I buy. They are a bit pricey.

If that don't work I probably have some lying around since I rarely thow stuff away.

What you want is a Dyna-Flyte 880-C.  There are now several 880-D on ebay but they are dual point.  Bill
