I saw that too, but "Triple Black" is a term used like "Barn Find" in the lexicon of "classic" cars.  I think it meets the spirit of the term, and when I saw the red carpet I really liked it. It contrasts nicely with the black in my opinion.

I think this car can be bought for $4000. When sellers of an otherwise nice car fail to address the easily addressable bumper filler issue, it costs them thousands and delays a resale by days or months.  If this car had the fillers installed and painted, then I can't argue with $5000 or so on price, all other issues checking out of course.

But a buyers eyes are simply drawn to that ungainly area and it stays there.

Bryan... you nailed it... this guy wants it gone, and he's not willing to part with another dollar to fix the two large warts.   Begs the question about what else needs doing,   James

That car is BadA$$ in addition to being, yes, triple black.
Black paint, black top, black interior. The red accents is a huge plus breaking up what would be a boring all black interior. And how often do you see a 76 Biarritz anyway?

With the correct black 76 caps that car would be a total knock out.

Nice car.

Nice car.

I agree that red carpet is the bomb.  I was trying to think, that must be stock/original?  I can't think of any other color to put in there, that might work.  Dark Brown maybe, would look nice as a contrast.  In my novice mind, I think I usually see 2 tone colors in Eldorados of this era, with a dash/carpet being different.  It must be stock because of the red on the door panels.  Awesome car, I agree.
