This is the one that was posted a while back!  I am tempted, but too hard to trust someone on Craigslist that far away (I'm in Houston and know no one in the area.)

You have to balance the fact that this guy is about $200 less than the national average for these things, and whether or not you can get him to take good pictures of all the edges top and bottom to make sure there are no cracks.

Problem is in the shipping.  First of all most people that use C List instead of ebay are looking for local pickup of their item(s).  I have shipped a few of these and they are very high risk for breakage even when padded and boxed correctly.  Insist on insurance if you ever buy one of these and it's being shipped to you.  Also know that UPS will deny claims if the packaging material is not new and there isn't a minimum of 2" of padding all the way around.

If I were going to ship one of these, I think I would tape some cardboard under the edges so they would not get smashed. And perhaps some on the "good" side as well, then plenty of foam "popcorn" inside the rest of the package. It takes a little time and effort, but it can be done.

I do agree that most posters on Craigslist want you to meet them at MickeyD's and hand over the $$$. But they also have to realize that even reasonably large towns don't have anyone with a '72-'76 Eldorado in it anymore, and so to sell the item, they might have to pack it.

Crazy world out there these days...

These come up for sale often.
I'd wait until you can find one within a day's drive and go pay for it and get it in person.
