I need the screw on the left for the fuel tank of a '62 convertible. Scale is in cm, sorry.

I would imagine that you could purchase a 'J' bolt at just about any hardware store if you are located within the U.S..

I am not. This is a standard item?

It is an item found at just about any hardware store or home center. Price depends on the size and material that it's made from. If you really need authenticity, that's different, but who is going to lay on the ground looking for fuel tank strap hangers to be correct?

Thank you... I did not know that these are standard items and was not aware of the term "J-bolt".

These should be the same, right?

I would just get a long bolt and heat up the shaft and bend the end over into the required shape.

A previous owner of the car had the very same idea but now it is time to go with the correct item  >:D

Using Booker Rod is just not right.

I would use a long Tensile bolt from my stash and bend it using Oxy/Acetylene as a heating source.

If you can't find the right one, I will make you one.
