My car is a vegas turquoise Cad coupe de ville. Trim 47. Paint 29 on the tag. For years I have been trying to get an exact metallic turquoise color match for the leather, even though 59 cads had leather on the hard wearing areas, and vinal on the side. The material I already have, from SMS in Portland. SMS did try to match to a piece of my original leather but their color matching was way way off the mark. Any recommendations? or someone out there that has a vegas turquoise interior car and had a great result in restoring their interior? like to hear from you.

I don't know if it would help but I came across this place recently:
https://www.lebaronbonney.com/cart/seat_covers.php
They supply replacement covers for a lot of vehicles but they may have some additional source for specific color leather (guessing).

Regarding the exact color match I think part of the issue is dye lot and part of the issue is likely your original has changed color slightly over the years.

Is there a natural place where you could replace part of the seat where there wouldn't be a direct contrast on the same surface? You can post pictures on this site if you wanted to show people the area which you are trying to repair and what the color match looked like compared to the original.

I was recently looking for dyes as well and there was one brand claiming something like 160 different shades but yours sounds rather unique.

If you’re interested in the dye route, try leatherique (leatherique.com).  They specialize in dyes to matc leather; you just send them a small sample and they will match it.  They are well-regarded by some fussy collectors, including the RROC.  I’ve used their dyes on dashboard cracks and been amazed by the color match.

Thanks for all your information. I did my whole interior 20 years ago when I was young, they didn't quite get the colour right and accepted it at the time. Now being older and wiser I want to re do it as it has been bugging me for years. I have got a sample from CPR for your car on the west coast and they are very close.
