I make the trunk trim clips.. They are not exact repros,they are I believe stronger. I take a lot of time making them,there are 4,for the middle positions and 2 outer ones. I test fit each one on a very nice, non hit trunk stainless. The trunk stainless is an expensive part,so I understand,one does not want it falling off due the old rusted clips or clips made wrong.
