I just bite the bullet and bought a new project: a original paint 1952 coupe. This is my First car of this era so I will need your help from time to time. The plan is to get it up and running after it’s long time barn stay. I did hear the 331 running but it is going to need a lot of mechanical work. Brakes, fuel, Electra, and so on...

Congratulations! My kind of car, one you can enjoy while you tinker.
Looks like your TV rod is not connected to the Edelbrock. Might take some doing, but that is critical to get those shift points right in order to get the most out of your driving experience. If it were me, I'd be looking for a Rochester 4G.

Looks really solid.  Nice, very nice.  Always liked the '52.  When you look at all the offerings from the other manufacturers for 1952, Caddy far and away had a really nice design.  1952 for most cars to me was a lost year-- some pretty ugly offerings.

Driving with the TV rod disconnected will pretty much disintegrate the transmission in fairly short order.  That needs to be fixed ASAP.

Other than that, good luck with the car.

This car needs a lot more than just that tv cable... just one more thing on the list  ;)

Congratulations.
Ask a lit of questions here. The wealth of knowledge on this forum is amazing. If you are ever worried about asking a stupid question, don't be. Believe me, I have asked some real doozies on here.
Good luck and keep posting pictures.
