I sent my membership renewal payment to the CLC office in early January.  However, I received an email yesterday stating my membership is going to expire and that I should make a payment ASAP.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Is it possibly because of Mike Book's accident?

Jay,

I'm having similar issues. The office will be open Monday, 3 Feb 20. I'm going to call and handle it person to person.

I had a similar problem last year, so it is not "Accident" related.   Just a glitch in the computer system.

Same thing for me. I figured it was due to Mike's accident. The check has not cleared either.       Harry

That said, any renewal issues if done online? Mine is soon due, and was holding off thinking I was giving Mike and staff a break. Clay/Lexi

I should have been more specific. I received an e-mail suggesting the urgent need to renew. I tried the web site but it indicated I had the wrong password, although I'm certain it was correct. I went through the process of changing my password correctly and then was told that the page I signed into was no longer available, but no direction to the correct page. I suspect there are issues with the page and will contact the office on Monday

Problem resolved.  I received an email yesterday from the CLC office saying my check was received and my membership renewed.

I renewed this week online with no problem.

I joined in 2003 and soon as it was possible joined for life.  Those types of deals are almost always worth it.  Wish they had a one time tax payment for life.  In addition to economic benefit, it saves from this type of headache.  Another solution to this post is to join for life.  It is understood that this is not always an option due to finances, uncertain health, question of continued interest and the like - just putting it out there.
