Does anybody know where I can find a new 45amp Generator for my car without spending $ 500 ?  Any help ?  Brion.

Can you get yours rebuilt?  Or buy a used core and get that rebuilt?  Should be less than $500.

Occasionally they show up on Ebay for a decent price, just make sure to watch the part numbers. I was able to have mine rebuilt a few years ago for around $100. There are still shops around that have parts and more importantly know-how. Good luck

I think I have a rebuildable core. If you are interested let me know. I also have a good generator guy who can rebuild it. I am actually going there later this week to drop off a starter.
