New to the forum. I recently purchased a 1976 Eldorado hardtop, white with black vinyl top and rare factory electric sunroof, with 32K documented miles, in very nice overall condition. The switches on the rear of front seats don't work, thereby not allowing front seats to fold forward to enter rear seat area. I realize they are electric and should allow the seat to be folded when the doors are open. If the solenoid fails the switch should be able to move manually. In my case, neither electric nor manual works. I took switch lever off and sprayed some wd40 inside and still no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help.

You will have to take the trim off of the seat back and pull some of the upholstery up to access the actuator that is stuck.

I was thinking that might be the next step. Thank you for the advice.
