Hello
I Am looking to by pass the AC compressor on my 75 eldo. Would anyone happen to know the belt size or part number?
Thanks

I've used 47 and 48 inch belts that both work. Dayco 17470/17480. Those are the same pulleys that your motor used.

Remember that the 1973 (or 74?) and later with a single AC / PS belt used a thicker belt than the 1968-72 which had a dual belt configuration.

74 some cars got the single belts.   75 they all did.   Lengths were close enough to interchange.  If you don't care what it looks like I have run the duals in the singles and singles in the duals.   They are close enough to work just looks a little strange.

The OP"s question was what belt can he use if he wants to bypass the AC compressor. In 75 they only had a single belt on the AC/PS .

Ah ha.   Missed the hyphen.

I am running a separate belt for bypassing the AC on my '72, as someone installed a single-pulley AC Compressor and the belt I have for the Crank to PS pump is a narrow groove one.

Looking at the picture, mine uses a 7473 Gates XL   11A1200  But it is the narrow one.

PS.   One day I will change the top pulley for a dual belt one, but it has been working well since 2008, so there is no rush.

Greg's right with the length, just make sure you get the thicker belt than the 1968-73 ones or it will sit low in the pulley grooves.
