1956 Cadillac antenna cable section at mast

Hello all,
I am looking to replace the section of the antenna cable that screws into the mast of a 1956 Cadillac. It is the short piece that goes through the firewall and has the grounding strap attached to it. It's about 15-20 inches long.

I have a cable I believe I took out of a 56 Sedan De Ville, but it is 35" long with a ground strap. I can send pictures if you like. Thanx Frank

That would be great if you could send a few. 35 inches sounds long to me but if the connections are the same, it will work I think. Thanks!

Looks like that is for a different car.The connection to the antenna mast is with a plug and curved plate that screws onto the mast with 2 small screws. Sorry but I'll have to keep looking unless you have something different as I described. Thanks so much for taking the time to send the pictures.

I don't know if you've found one yet, but I'll take a look at my parts car this evening and see if I've got a spare.

Bad luck for us both: I found one in my "spare" parts; it's the same as the one from cadparts58.  From the master parts book, those cables may be for 1957 & 58. As you wrote, the cable is attached to the mast with 2 tiny screws.

Thanks to you all for looking for that cable for me. I was able to find one from Faded Fins  which was exactly what I needed so I'm all set. He also sent me some much sought-after clips for the rear quarter spears I was missing.  A double treat!
