1966 temperature sender location

Hi everyone,
I noticed my temperature gauge was not working today. Can someone tell me where the sender is located on the engine? I figure that is a good place to start.

The temperature sending unit is screwed into the front of the driver's side cylinder head. Look at the head between the distributor and the ignition coil and you should easily see it.

I can't figure out how to draw on this photo, but the sensor is shown just above the left end of the rocker arm cover.
In this picture the wire is not yet attached.

thank you. I found it with the wire disconnected. Not the greatest connection design.
