Hi,
Can somebody kindly guide how the ammeter is wired physically? I have the picture of circuit but in my car there is not going a wire to volt regulator´s center pin as it goes in circuit picture. + goes where, - goes where?
Help is appreciated.

Many thanks,

Is it an ammeter or a charge/discharge meter?   Too different things.
Get the electrical diagram.

Hi,

Shop manual from 1949 says ammeter - the original name. I'd say they ment by that name that time charge/discharge meter.
Anyway, I found some old discussion regarding this issue in these pages - problem solved.
And my apologies for putting this issue under "General Discussion".
