Will this water pump fit either a 38 or 41 60 S?

Hello all.  I won some things at an auction yesterday, two starters and one generator, plus an extra starter solenoid.  I took these items to the repair shop to have checked out and repaired if required.  I also got a water pump that I can't find a number on and a fan support bracket 1441115.  The parts book says it is for a 41, but a past discussion from several years ago indicated it may work on earlier cars.

Can anyone identify this water pump for me?

Looks like a 194x pump to me. It is my understanding that on the 39s at least (and likely earlier variants) didn't have the secondary plug opening which was for a heater hose. Regardless, it should fit on about any of the flathead V-8s, it just won't be by the book "correct" for certain years.
