No, it depends on hotel availability. We aim for June, July, and early August. June is preferred due to the weather.

Before we talk about 2024, let's give some respect to our friends in the New Mexico Region, who are hosting next year's Grand National. Albuquerque and the surrounding area offer attractions no one else has. There is no requirement you drive or trailer your car to the Grand National; many folks just go as a vacation. That's what I do most years, as I have attended 22 GNs.

Albuquerque's airport is about eight or so miles from the host hotel, and Amtrak's Southwest Chief stops in Albuquerque, starting in Chicago or Los Angeles, so that's a great alternative to flying. I took the California Zephyr from Denver to Chicago for the Grand National this year and it was so easy.

I had tried to register using the QR code yesterday, also. I think it is expired or needs to be reset. I have sent an email to Nick Manole asking him to check it out.

In some cases, if the QR Code is set to be aligned with a designated date, then it could be that the date is too far ahead of what is allowed to book rooms.

Many places won't allow bookings to be done further ahead than 11 Months.   Airlines and shipping are such cases.

The QR Code on the 2023 GN flyer has been corrected. I just booked the host hotel Sunday to Sunday, June 18 to June 25, 2023 with the discounted rate.
