I hope someone can help me out I'm putting  my 46 cadillac back together and I was hoping  someone can help me out with adjusting  the front fenders. Has of right know the fenders are 2 wide so the hood to fender gap is to wide.
Any input would be great

So many things come to mind. First what model are we talking about? Then did you replace the anti squeak material between the inter and outer fender skins. It will move them about 1/8 inwards each. Two is the hood the correct distance from the cowl? It's a V so as it moves forward it will be wider. Do you have all the rubber cushions ? They center it and will give you the correct spacing.    Hope this helps, Tim  46 61 coup
