It's interesting that this car was customized when new. I do think it is very attractive. The description compares in to the Packard Darrin Convertible, but of course that model was officially sanctioned by Packard.

Does anyone know anything about this model beyond what is already in the description?

Thank you for posting this. Very interesting. The customizer started with a 50 series Lasalle. The GM designers achieved a similar result with the 52 series. The 52 series looks lower than the 50 series. The customizer lowered the 50 series a lot more than GM did with the 52 series.

This custom looks better with the top down because it seems the customizer did not alter the stock top and it looks too tall when it is up.

I attached a picture of a 1939 Lasalle that had a similar customization. It was at the 2019 Grand National at Louisville.
