I ran across this 1941 Cadillac for sale for $33500. Very nice second owner. The engine has been rebuilt along with many other items. The owner has a folder with the repairs. You can PM me and I will be happy to give you her name and number.  The car is in Pine Grove California.

Looks like a Series 61 sedan.  Series 63 would have a slight notchback.

You're right.  Believe it or not, the Series 63 was originally intended to be the 1941 LaSalle.  When that program was cancelled, the car that was left was fancied up and christened the Series 63.
