1946-1949 Emblems

  Are the front hood and rear trunk lid emblems the same?  I'm talking about the ones with the ducks on them, not the V's.

Depends on year.  McVeys should have em?  Also if you can luck out source NOS ones on Ebay.

Master Parts List says they are different. Front = #145-3000, Rear = 145-5538
On my 49 they look the same. They may have different contours to mate with the surfaces they are mounted on.

watch out for the ones on Ebay. I bought what was advertised a a NOS 1946 trunk crest. It ended up being poor quality  new preproduction , wrong size and the studs didn't match the holes. Tim
