1979 Cadillac Eldorado Barritz! With only 44k miles!!  Engine, automatic transmission. Vehicle has been stored in a climate controlled museum. Vehicle starts and runs very well. I just drove it as soon as we got it here, and absolutely loved it. Rare Cadillac Eldorado Barritz. Chrome roof and trim. Red interior with luxe white leather seats. Fuel injected!

Bryan,  this is THE ONE.  Solid engine, plush interior, and exterior options, low mileage... If I were in the market for a new toy, I'd be on this one.  Thanks for posting... something to dream about over coffee this A.M.  Gratefully, James

SO sad that GM rushed into production of the 4100. That era's design language was lovely, and only the '79 had the durable engine.  The irony is that the 4100 saved, on average, one mile per gallon, but cost purchasers no end of disappointments. I performed a 260 cid Olds 2 barrel carburetor conversion following two premature deaths of 4100's. So yes, on average it got a little less gas mileage, and even with the iron block, the car handled about the same.
