1960s 1962 - Hood to Cowl Seal info required

Can anyone provide pictures/info on how this seal fits. I can see that the "A" section follows the flange above the firewall (sticks with weatherseal cement, I presume) but not sure where the "B " section ends up. (see photos).
Any advice?

Those get tucked up underneath the cowl vent panel.

Hard to see since it just ends going into the cowl cover.
