Hi,

Wondering if this this how it is supposed to function: The trip meter reset knob under the dash pushes in and spins which allows me to reset the trip to zero, I need to spin it all the way back.  Every turn of the knob moves it about 1 mile.  Is this correct?

Thanks,

Usually, when you spin the adjuster backwards, the first roller will go to Xero, then as you keep on turning the adjuster, it catches the next roller, and spins that back to zero, at the same time, turning the original roller.   Keep on doing this, and eventually, all the rollers will align up with zero.   Go too far, and then all the 9's will line up, and as you keep on turning, the row will go to 8, then 7, etc.   Just remember to stop at zero, or you will be doing it all over again.

That method makes sense.  I thought I tried spinning the knob both ways, but don't recall it flipping to zero.  I  will give it a try.  Otherwise I may have to take the speedo out and check it over.

Thanks Bruce!
