Any years AC Component Suppliers

What are your thoughts and experiences with original AC or HVAC restoration

We have suppliers like Caddy Daddy who have some parts.

We have Old Air Products
We have Classic Auto air who will restore components.

But has anyone used auto ac solutions?
I am surprised by the range of new parts claiming to be built to original specs for reproductions.

Does not say whether the condenser is Aluminum , Copper or Steel construction

I'll bet it's aluminum. The given weight says 10 pounds if I'm reading it right. The original copper one feels like 35 pounds. Aluminum does cool better though.

You got me curious. So I was about to carry my AC condenser to my bathroom scale to check. Then I thought about it and realized it is easier to carry the bathroom scale to the condenser.

It weighs exactly 20 pounds.

But I think we are missing the question. I only put that condenser up as an example and I prefer having pictures. They also show heater cores valves etc.

I am looking for info so we I will be replacing or restoring every component.

Looking for the most efficient way to buy or restore all those parts.

FWIW I personally even having a comfortable working knowledge of AC tend to look to the proven suppliers first

I've been using Old Air Products. I like their service and prices. It doesn't hurt that it's a 30 minute drive to get there for me.
