I am looking for new roof rail seals since mine no longer seal correctly with a new window. The usual suppliers like Rubber Right Way or Steel Rubber products are very expensive. Found two suppliers that are much less expensive. The Parts Place and Classic Industries. They both list the seals as for GM 2dr coupes 59 and 60.
First question is does anyone have experience with either of these businesses and if so are their products of good quality? 2nd question is could the lower price be because they are not specifically listed as a Cadillac part? 3rd Question is does anyone have a drivers door roof rail seal for this car left over from a set that that only used the pass side seal. I'd be willing to buy it. Also is there any supplier that will sell only one seal?
It looks like they just installed by pushing the pins into wholes. Do I need any weather striping cement or not on these? As always, I appreciate any help you can give.

I have bought from Classic industries. Some of their Chevy products cross over to Cadillac. But not all.

Here is a suggestion. Search rubber the right way for Chevy impala or something and check the price and part number.

Classic Industries lists the roof rail WS for a Chevy, as well as Cadillac, Buick, etc. $200 less than RTRW. My guess is that the cheaper part would be just that, cheaper.

My fear is you are right. That is why I'm asking if anyone has bought these and what was there experience and if anyone has a left side from a pair they did not use from, Rubber Right Way or Steel Rubber products.
