1960s 1962 SDV map pockets

This is an AACA senior award winner 1962 SDV.  Survivor award winner too.
It has rare bucket seats and #25 Saddle leather as per the SO order.
But Ive never seen map pockets.
Were these an option?

Probably this was done at a custom shop using original caddy leather. I know GM used a shop in Detroit for VIP custom orders. Does anyone know the name? This car also has every single option available on a SDV. Including a controlled diff.

As for the leather condition, after 108K miles its in nice shape.
Below is a pic from a red 1962 convertible for comparison.

I have never seen those, nor are they mentioned in any of the salesman's literature.

But... if you had the money, you could possibly order it your way.
