Wow, summer is moving along.  Soon it will be coming again; next year.  So, enjoy this cruising weather while it lasts.

In the August 2024 issue of the Standard of The World newsletter:

Page 1. On the cover we finally look at a car Ron Fishell has been talking about for many years.

Page 2. NTXCLC First Saturday Breakfast.  This is both a social get together, business meeting, and car show.

Page 3. An ad for a fun car show.  A number of NTX members were there last year and had a great time.

Page 4. Get your reservation in for the 2025 CLC Grand National. The hotel fills up fast.  A lot of fun things are planned – see the Self Starter for more details.

Page 5. Just a sampling of the many different grills found on Cadillac cars.

Page 6.  Classifieds. And some chrome wheels for sale.  (They are Brand new.)

Page 7.  Activities Calendar, more of our advertisers, and Digital 3 Printing (they print our newsletter).  Also, our officers and directors, and Sunshine Report.

Pages 8-10.  Alex Beloff III's Article on "Cadillac's Cimarron"

Page 11.  Ads, new members, Advertising Rates, Classifieds, our popular North Texas Region logo club items; and Membership Report. 

Page 12. Parting Thoughts – One of the covered bridges near Gettysburg, seen on the road trip at the start of the GN.  There were four different nones to view. And one of the nicest restored 1912 Tourings I have ever seen.
