Is the heater core from a 1961 Series 62 (convertible) the same as a 1961 60 Special Fleetwood?

Also, what parts book can anyone recommend?  It would be ideal if one existed for not just the 1961 model year but also model years before and after.  A reproduction would be fine.

Thank you very much.

All  1959-62 Cadillac dash heater cores are part  # 3144756 . The same core was also used on most GM cars for the same period. It should be an orderable parts store item.

THings to consider about a parts book

For Cadillac 1965 was  a major  change. Not only the cars ,but parts book groupings. The system Cadillac had used for 35 years was replaced by a GM wide (Chevrolet) system. Cadillac in 1964 issued parts  books in both systems for dealers behind and a head of change.

Upholstery and interior parts are often dropped 2-4 years after new.

Illustrations are best the first couple years and not always good in reprints.

There are one year Parts Books,be sure  to get a Master Parts book

For a 1961 ,I would try to find a 1963 factory print. Second choice  a 1964 with old groups.
If you have a 1965 or newer car as well ,try for a 1964 with the new groupings.

Thank you very much!  I'll try and find that 1963 manual you mentioned.
