Considering the rust in the usual places, I would expect the floors and trunk floor to be in about the same condition.
With a "soft" frame, it will be a very expensive restoration.  If a rust-free coupe or Coupe deVille can be found, it
can donate all that is needed.  I like the color.

I jus sold one about a year ago $12000, in similar shape. Id say hes 20,000 high. These cars cost a fortune to restore

Too much fun is more than you can have.

Am I bordering on cynical... can this car have clocked less than 20,000 miles, and have a "soft frame," and so much rust and degradation?

Bryan J Moran

How I cynically read his ad.  "I was in the right place at the right time when the estate had to be settled and paid $5,000 for it. I know what it is but have no interest in spending $250,000 to restore it. Just flip it for 5x what I paid.  Don't need to sell (not true) just seeing what's out there. No lowball offers, I know what I have"....

The more I look at this car the more it gives me the willies....

If the 19K mile is correct then the storage really was in a very damp spot...

After 65 years the interior leather still looks soft and the dash pad isn't cracked...that tells us the storage wasn't just damp but wet....that vinyl top should have been peeling off in sheets....

The motor is probably really locked up from the moisture....

The way to go is find a decent coupe that runs good.....then switch all the trim and interior....tri-power carbs and intake...into the coupe...

So buy this car for $20K ?....coupe $15K ?....that's before you even pick up a wrench....you can see this getting out of control real fast....

I don't know about this one........
