Runs and drives great. Interior has a few tears but still decent. The body is straight, but does have a few rust spots under the rear glass and trunk lip. Floor pans and trunk are solid. Mileage could be original but not documented.

Hhmmm.  No comments.  To me, I don't care whether it's a Calais.  I'm after the style of the Cadillac.

I, too, often wonder as to why some of these enticing listings don't receive some commentary from members. I also really enjoy those rare occasions where a posting evolves into a close inspection by a CLC member who then posts an evaluation. I enjoy your narratives that involve your reaching out to sellers for additional information.  I've purchased CLC members' cars that were good value, and that eventually I passed on to other CLC members.
