The Lyriq looks pretty nice and there are good deals to be had. But it is wide. At 78" (w/o mirrors) it is only 2" narrower than my '60 Eldo. While I never actually got to the point of driving a Lyriq, I did drive its cousin, the Honda Prologue, which is also that wide, and you definitely feel the width. For those of us who have occasion to drive our daily cars in urban environments, that width can be something ranging from annoying to nerve-wracking. Yes, the Prologue (and I'm sure the Lyriq) handles better than my '60, but that doesn't really matter when negotiating a parking space or a narrow street. Also, I never felt entirely sure about where the left front wheel was on the road; kind of reminded me of driving in Great Britain.

My wife and I drove the Porsche Taycan. Nice and fast, but heavy.
We ran out of juice on the test drive with the salesman.
"Don't worry, we have a hundred miles of range."
Mmmmm, not really.
