Can someone tell me if there are any overlapping years that use the same wiper motor as a 1967 DeVille? Or is it a one-year-only part? Thank you

Julien Abrahams

I would imagine that it was used not only multiple years but also across other GM cars of that period.

1954 Cadillac series 62
1967 Cadillac Sedan De Ville HT
1969 Austin Healey Sprite
1979 Opel Kadett

Indeed, as an assembly, the wiper motor for 1967 is a one year only. However, when looking at the various separate parts, the picture is different. Probably a motor from another year will fit, with some differences compared to your own motor.

   From  35th edition(1969) Hollander Wiper # 497
Part# 4917634

    year     make              stamped #

   1967    Buick,exc Riviera   5044668
   1967    Buick Riviera       5044672
   1967    Cadillac            5044664
   1967    Eldorado
   1967    Olds                5044674

As Roger wrote Most parts of motor are the same 66-67,some even 1965. The arm is 1967 only. The Cadillac parts book says the Eldo arm  is different from other models. Hollander says 2speed  Buick  (exc Special),Cadillac (exc 6575 series) and Olds (exc F85) for 1965-66 ,interchange. So they may be good parts sources.

I really appreciate this info. I bought the only thing locally available, which is a 1968 DeVille motor, and I'm going to remove my original motor soon and see what the differences are.

Quite frankly it sounds like the 1967 Deville wiper motor is a black hole--there's nothing around or they're $700.
