Hi. I just bought a 59 Sedan that's missing most of the windshield wiper and washer parts including the motor, washer jar and nozzles. Two washer tubes are there but not hooked up to anything and the wiper transmissions arms and windshield wipers are there but nothing else.

I just installed a remanufactured motor/washer pump from TT but cannot find any information on where the washer nozzles go. There is nothing in the 1959-60 official shop manual. I can't find anyplace on the cowling they mount to. My guess is they mount at the wiper. No clue.

I ordered new nozzles but not sure where they screw into. they are threaded on one end but I can't find where they would attach. LOL.

I don't know anyone close by that has one of these cars to look at.

Thanks

If like the 61 they mount to the escutcheon under the wiper mount. 20241203_190255.jpg

59-in-pieces

Chip,

A pic would help of the cowl area in front of the windshield to see what's there or not.

However, here are some - 59-60 - pics which will show the parts (front & back) necessary for the windshield washer to work, that are located on the cowl in front of the windshield.

The pics will show where the source water hoses attach on the back side of the escutcheons as well as where the spray nozzles attach to the front of the escutcheons.

Any other questions, let us know.

Have fun,
Steve B.

Thanks Steve!

Looks like I need all those parts.

Chip,

Here is a diagram of the order in which the mounting hardware is to be installed - see below.
Note - There is a rubber washer that needs to be added to the pics previously sent - see below.

Oh while I'm at it, there are specialty tools to install the round nuts - see below.

Have fun,

Thanks Steve. Do you sell those parts or know who does? Hope all is well in Burbank.

59-in-pieces

Chip,

Nothing to sell.

I would surf the net - Google - eBay - Facebook market place - wrecking yards, etc..

There should be lots of parts cars out there - I hope.

At least you know how many parts you need, and what they look like if you can't get a complete set - both sides.

Have fun,
