Is the joke on me? Are these attainable? Had no idea they were DIFFERENT than the front ones.

Yes, if 'obtainable' means available used or rebuildable. 65-66 Fleetwood rear motors are the same. 67-68s have the same body and internals, but the top section (mounting section) is different.

Yours can certainly be rebuilt by your local alternator shop. I probably have some if you need rebuildable cores.
