1960s Proper Ground Strap Material

I'm missing a few ground straps on my 61 and rather than try and find and buy them all I think I'm going to build them.  I have the main ground strap, block to frame by the starter, as well as the one from the neg battery cable to the radiator support, and the 2 front suspension top A-arm straps.  I need to make the head to firewall straps for sure, and want to use a reasonably correct strap.  So I'm trying to determine the correct width, and if it is tinned or bare copper.  I think bare copper is the answer but would like to confirm.  Any other straps I should be looking for?  Besides the little ground wires that are local to some electrical devices and lights.

The head to firewall ground straps on my 63 are copper. There's one on each head. The straps on my car are the original factory head to firewall straps that came on my car. I suspect yours would have been copper also. Hope this helps.

Driver. About 8.5 inch long 3/8 to 1/2 inch wide




Passenger. About 5.5 inch long and 5/8 inch wide.
