I have a 1936 series 60.I'm just wondering are the correct spark plug wires black or yellow with red/black tracer. Not sure id like to know before i order Thanks

Good morning,

I believe black cotton wrapped lacquered GM or Packard Wire. Both companies provided wiring for GM cars at that time.  By '36 most manufacturers, Graham, Cord and Auburn(?) excepted, had gone to that style high tension lead.

If you plan to show the car check the '36 judging manual or contact a National judge for their opinion.THey are committed to authenticity and will help you. The writers of the manual are the final arbiters of all things correct under the hood of a 1936 Cadillac 60 Series when it comes to showing. .

Wiring colors are are much discussed in the collectors community. It is a deep, deep rabbit hole.

Yes I know the engine pictured is a '41.
