Good morning, I was a member of the CLC from 2010-11 before recently rejoining. I reached out to the email provided and they were unable to pull any records from 2010. Is there any way to find out what my old member number would have been? I do know my forum name from back then but no idea of my member number. Thanks!

See if you can locate your member card that was sent you when you joined the first time. The CLC custodians have recently changed. Who knows what records were not transferred or even kept prior to the change.

You're here now. That's what counts!

Thank you Big Fins! I have no photos of the card or anything from CLC. That's the big dilemma. I think I was maybe 23xxx something maybe 16xxx I cannot remember for the life of me.

I couldn't forget mine. It was the same as the assigned PIN on my corporate issued fuel card.  8)

Bruce, thank you so much! You did what Cornerstone Registration said was un-doable! I appreciate it greatly. Now to figure out how to claim my old number back! Thanks again!

Seems like anyone with a membership directory from the era in question could look it em up.  I was able to look up my old number when I re joined but they said that didn't matter unless you were current at the time they took over.  If you name wasn't already in their system the only way forward was to enter it and get a new presumably sequential number assigned.

If it was as easy as looking it up I would guess there are many club members with old directories that would be willing to look them up but it must not really matter and could possibly complicate the way things work with the current management software and management.
73 Eldo convert w/FiTech EFI, over 30 years of ownership and counting
Somewhat recently deceased daily drivers, 80 Eldo Diesel & 90 CDV
And other assorted stuff I keep buying for some reason

Zack,

I understand where you are coming from, wanting to hang onto your former CLC member number but its been 14 or 15 years.

Did Cornerstone indicate they would be updating your 34xxx or 35xxx series member number to the previous?

You entered your former number in your profile but a search of the Member Directory brings back zero results based on that info.

Enjoy life - it has an expiration date.

Carfreak, I called Cornerstone yesterday and they told me that my old number was no longer in the system and there was no way to reissue that number back to me. I would guess because everything is now electronic.
