anybody remember a red 1940 Lasalle conv sedan at 2004 or 2011 GN?

I'd like to know what happened to a red 1940 Lasalle 50 series convertible sedan I saw at either the 2004 Grand National at South Bend Indiana or 2011 Grand National at Columbus Ohio. The car was complete but in rough shape. It would have been a challenging restoration because of the body rust. The floors were non existent. The owner at the time was maybe 30-40 years old. I had a conversation with him buy I don't remember his name.
Did he restore the car?
Did he sell it?
Did he do nothing with it?
