Good question, Tom.  In 2007, the theme of the Annual Fall Car Show at Capitol Cadillac in Greenbelt, MD was "Legacy of LaSalle" where we celebrated the 80th anniversary of the model.  See pictures at https://www.clcpotomacregion.org/2007fallcarshowattendees1.htm.
