I am assembling a 47 Fleetwood for a customer and I cannot find a photo or description on how the jack, base, and lug wrench are supposed to be stored. I looked through the shop manual, did a Google search and found nothing. Please help me finish this correctly. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I have a 47 series 62 sedan and I have what I believe to be the original Jack and Cover

It was stored behind the spare tire and came in a leather cover with a zipper closure running the full length

I will try and get to my shop tomorrow and get some pictures for you

That looks right, do you have the jack stand?  Tim

...I just saw this post and I know its more than 30 days old...I have a 47 Fleetwood 60S.  send me an email if you still need details...I have photo's of the spare tire, jack, jack base, wheel chock, including the original paper the jack was wrapped in and the bag of hand tools that came from the factory. They are too large to post...The spare tire has NEVER been removed from the car and the jack and tools have never been used...Dad made sure they remained that way!  I hope this helps you or anyone in the future.

Hello Luis,
i own a 1946 Fastback and your boot looks similar. So I am interested in your way of storage the jack. I will try to send a email.
