Need help ID'ing early cylinder head.

Good evening.

'24-'28 341? right side head. Not mine. If correctly ID'd the owner may sell it. If so I'll post it in the for sale section for him.

  The oldest Identified  head illustration I have found is for model 341 (late27-28), this is not it. The top side should have cast bars front to back. The water passages are all wrong.

   I looked up in Details of Construction manuals for types 63,61,59,57,55, they should be showing the right parts. All had combustion chambers that included the valves. This head does not. In my opinion it is not Cadillac.

 I'm not sufficiently knowledgeable about the twenties Cads and LaSalles to be definitive. However, the bolt pattern is identical to Cadillacs of that era, perhaps not the '27s specifically, but within a few model years. Same for the location of the water inlet, along with, according to the owner, the numbers 2-4-6-8.stamped in  the head, possibly by an owner or rebuilder.  They are not visible in the photographs, so judgement has to be used in considering that fact.

Below is a photograph of what is identified as '27 CAdillac. It's a leap of faith in that it came from images from Google.

I am sure there is a Club member who participates in the forums who owns one, has restored one and who  can identify it definitively . Same for an engine builder who has has remanned Cadillac motors of that era. Much more definitive than an image from Google, but the best I can offer at this time. They can provide empirical evidence of the heads identity and application.

  I hope someone with first hand knowledge will chime in.The manuals I am using don't tell the story well,because they use pictures over from one to another. The bolt patterns do make you wonder if it isn't Cadillac.The water passages and combustion chambers ,to me say a different story.
  How much the Cadillac engine differed from the Northway engine,may be what we see here. The Northway was the pattern for the 15-17 Oakland V8 and 15-23 Oldsmobile V8.  Northway was a GM company at the same time Cadillac was designing their V8.
